Langtang Gosainkunda trek takes you to one of the most exhilarating journeys of your life into the culturally rich Langtang valley inhabited by Tamang people and the sacred site of Gosainkunda Lake. Other high altitude lakes found in the area include Saraswatikunda and Bhairabkunda.

The amazing views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges and the impressive formation of glaciers and moraines will keep you on your adrenaline rush. When it comes to combining religious pilgrimage with wilderness experience, nothing can beat Langtang Gosainkunda Trek.

The Langtang region is full of pristine forests in the likes of oak, hemlock, fir and rhododendron and gorge like valleys which are all part of Langtang National Park. This is one of the oldest national parks in Nepal. The park is home to a score of endangered species including Himalayan Thar, Red Panda and Snow Leopard.

Our journey crisscrosses the bed of Trishuli river to reach Trishuli Bazaar, and then past Syabrubesi, before turning east into the Langtang valley and trekking to a high plateau where the sacred lake Gosainkunda is located.

The Langtang Gosainkunda Trek can be done at varying times of the year and the duration of trek may also vary depending upon your interests and budget. However, this 12-day itinerary is the most appropriate one since it has been designed keeping in mind the issue of acclimatization and major attractions.

Nepal Environmental Treks & Expedition have been organizing trekking since 1990. Our clients trust us for our consistent quality services and customer oriented approach. Feel free to contact us for your trekking and expedition needs.
